Returning to my theatrical roots I had the immense pleasure and opportunity to be a production assistant on the show Puffs or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years At a Certain School of Magic and Magic. The show went on to be nominated and eventually won acclaim with the Broadway World Salt Lake Region Awards. Though I was not on the production for a very long time, the time that I did have I cherished. Below are the responsibilities I had for my PA run.

Responsibilites:

  • Coordinate Scheduling 

  • Document Actor attendance 

  • Serve as a point of contact for actors to production 

  • Note taking for rehearsals

  • Track props

  • Documenting needed, organizing prop locations, supervising prop creation

  • Document rehearsal reports

  • Report to production executives 

  • Assist director in running rehearsals

  • Be on hand for additional tasks

  • Sound system coordination
